It is also a well known fact, that it is a very difficult task to do your own proof reading because, as you have been heavily involved in creating the website, you tend to 'read over' the mistakes. It really needs someone else to properly undertake this important task.
When I visit your website, I will check the following:
- Spelling errors and typo's (we all make them :o)
- The use of incorrect words (e.g. their/there - weather/whether - etc.)
- Missing commas and/or incorrect use of, or missing, apostrophes
- Validity of links - Are they working and do they point to where they should?
Dead or invalid links are a BIG frustration for web surfers. You've got the visitors to your website. You don't want to lose them because of this.
- I will also offer a FREE appraisal of your site(s) re color, layout, loading time, overall appearance and ease of use, etc.
All of the above functions
CANNOT be found by using a 'spell check' program. It needs a pair of human
to adequately cover all of the bases.

He scoots all around your Website and lets me know where the little 'gremlins' are. I then email you the details in a crisp and clear format so you can do the alterations at your leisure. (Unbeknown to Alfie, I have also put a picture of how he used to be

Once you receive the 'quotation' email, you then have the option to say 'no thanks' or engage our services at the quoted rate. I will negotiate rates if you have two or more websites you would like proof read. If you accept the quotation, payment will be required
PRIOR to us commencing the task. I will also give you an indication of how long it will take us to undertake your project.
We accept payments via
PAYPAL which is a Secure Payment Processor and it also offers Credit Card Payment facilities as well. (Of course, if you live in close proximity, cash will be fine :o) I have set the
MINIMUM payment for our services at the amount of
US$10.00 for Personal websites and
US$25.00 for Business Websites. Please note that these prices are on a 'per Website' basis.
Do I have any references as to my credibility in this field? Yes I do - but ...
Here's the strange thing ...
People have
PAID ME to proofread their websites but have
NEVER made the corrections! Go figure. So, if I sent you to visit the websites that I have proof read, you would think I have done a lousy job because the errors are still there. I can only advise of the errors, I can't physically fix them. For this reason, I haven't listed any contacts for you to check on Alfie and I. :o)
